DECATUR, Ill. – will host the annual on Sunday, March 10 from 12-4 p.m. in the Bob and Debi Johnston Banquet Rooms on the third floor of the University Commons.
The fourth annual event is put on by the Women in Business (WIB) student organization and will feature makers, crafters and artists from the ¼ϲʹٷվ and Macon County community offering a wide range of goods and services.
The 2023 ¼ϲʹٷվ Makers Market is scheduled to have more than 30 vendors. Items for sale include clothing, soaps, candles, tumblers, jewelry, artwork, greeting cards, baked goods and much more. Some of the services available include photography and financial services.
¼ϲʹٷվ is open to the public and parking on campus is free.
¼ϲʹٷվ senior Paige Coleman, Management Information Systems (MIS) and Business Management double major is the President of Women in Business, which hosts the event.
“We will have many different arts and crafts, hand-made jewelry, clothes and design piece items for sale too,” Paige said. “In Women in Business, we have a whole bunch of different majors coming together and they all have goal-orientated, entrepreneurial, and diverse ideas that they want to pursue.”
Payment methods accepted at the ¼ϲʹٷվ Makers Market will vary by vendor, including cash, credit card and mobile apps.
