William Randall Maddux, (90), was born on January 7, 1934, and passed away at home on April 15, 2024, surrounded by his wife, daughters and brother. William was born in Chicago and grew up in Long Point. He graduated from Long Point High School and played on the baseball and basketball teams while attending мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ University. He served in the Army (SP3) from 1957 to 1959. Bill was employed by Owens Illinois Glass for a bit before he started a lifelong venture in Farming through the next 63 years even helping out with the 2023 harvest last fall.
