About

Coaching that starts
where you actually are.

I teach handstands, yoga, heated sculpt and mobility in Tampa, Florida — to complete beginners, to people returning after a long break, and to practitioners chasing a cleaner line.

The through-line in all of it is the same. Progress in this work is rarely blocked by a lack of effort. It is blocked by trying to build the roof before the walls — chasing a hold before the shape is right, or chasing the shape before the body knows how to feel it.

So we go in order. We make the position feel safe before we ask you to commit to it. We get the mechanics right before we add time. We build the awareness to self-correct before we add complexity. It is slower for about two weeks and considerably faster after that.

I believe every person can improve their handstand regardless of age, experience, flexibility or strength. That is not encouragement — it is the premise the whole method is built on.

The method

In this order, every time.

  1. 01

    Build confidence before balance.

Nothing useful happens while you are bracing for a fall. We start by making the position feel survivable, then make it feel normal, and only then chase the hold.

  2. 02

    Build mechanics before endurance.

Holding a shape badly for longer only rehearses the error. We get the line right first, so the time you add is time well spent.

  3. 03

    Build body awareness before complexity.

You cannot correct what you cannot feel. Before we layer on skills, you learn to read what your shoulders, ribs and hips are actually doing.

  4. 04

    Build trust before fear.

Every session includes a safe way out. Knowing how to exit is what lets you commit to going up.

Quality movement over ego.
